MY MISSION

My goal with Beyond Health and Nutrition is to help my clients understand how to use food and exercise to enhance their lives sustainably. I provide personalized counseling and support to each client based on their unique goals, with the ultimate aim of improving their overall health. My approach is to simplify the complex world of health, so that my clients feel empowered and equipped to work towards their goals.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a holistic and sustainable approach to health and nutrition that encompasses all aspects of well-being, including social, emotional, and physical health. My aim is to simplify and provide clarity to my clients amidst the abundance of conflicting information in the world. I strongly believe that nutrition plays a vital role in achieving optimal health and longevity, and I strive to empower my clients by equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. I encourage my clients to view food as a powerful tool for health rather than something to be restricted or earned. ]

CALLIE RODRIGUEZ

Registered Dietitian

I grew up as an athlete in small town Minnesota, studying nutrition at South Dakota State University before to moving to Washington for my dietetic internship at Bastyr University.  My training had a whole foods and natural medicine focus with an emphasis on sports nutrition.

As a Registered Dietitian, I am an expert in the human body and nutrition. Though I learned all of the information during my education, it wasn't until I experienced it first hand in my own body that I really understood the power of diet and lifestyle.

In our culture, there's this false belief that we should always be eating less, and food is meant to be limited. I believe that truly understanding our bodies and how to nourish them correctly can be game changing, ultimately improving all aspects of life. Nutrition should be empowering and an opportunity to heal and strengthen our bodies, not something we fear.

MY EXPERIENCE

I studied nutrition & dietetics with an emphasis on whole foods, natural medicine, and sports nutrition. I have experience working as an outpatient dietitian in endocrine, maternal fetal medicine, and weight management. I have also worked for 2+ years in eating disorder treatment at various levels of care, with both adults and adolescents.
