Build-your-own granola recipe

Super versatile granola recipe! The recipe below is how I make it, but you can adapt it to your preferences. I would recommend at least 1 cup of your choice nuts/seeds, and 1 cup dried fruit of your choice or coconut flakes. Maple syrup can be substituted with honey. Option of adding chocolate chips and/or cinnamon, and more or less salt depending on how you like it. I would love to hear how you make it your own!



Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of steal cut oats

  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes

  • 1/2 cup dried berries

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla


Directions:

  1. preheat oven to 350F

  2. combine all ingredients

  3. spread flat on parchment paper lined baking sheet

  4. bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring after 10

  5. let cool before breaking into chunks

  6. granola can be stored in air tight container for up to a week
